| Death | 12 June 2007 (Age 91) Faribault, Rice, Minnesota, USA Note: Jeanette Marian Bull Kenow was called by God to receive her eternal crown of life on Tuesday, June 12, 2007. Services will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, Faribault, on Monday, June 18, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Robert Mundahl officiating. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault. Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Sunday, June 17, 2007 from 2 to 5 p.m. and also at the church on Monday for one hour prior to the service. Jeanette was born on February 10, 1916 in Stacy to James Harry and Blanche (Strunk) Bull. She grew up in Little Prairie, graduated from Faribault Senior High School and briefly attended the University of Minnesota Ag School. Jeanette was baptized and confirmed in her faith on April 30, 1939 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault. On October 16, 1937, she was united in marriage to Edgar Michael Howard Kenow. They were blessed with two children, Nancy Jeanette and David Edgar. Jeanette was a homemaker who served her Lord. With warm hospitality, she opened their home as host family to early teachers at Peace Lutheran School. She readily volunteered where needed and was an active member of Peace Lutheran Church and the Ladies Guild. Jeanette's hobbies included cooking, sewing, crossword puzzles and writing poetry. She is survived by her children, Nancy Sorrell of Coon Rapids and David and Gloria Kenow of Owatonna. She is the loving grandmother of Peter, Laura, Angie and Merry, Camille and Louis; great grandmother of Joshua, AJ, Joel, Molly, Victoria, Terry and Erich and Stephanie; and step great grandmother of Nick, Phil and Tim. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edgar in 1999; three brothers; and four sisters.
